Was ill last night after tea. Don’t know if it was food poisoning (good gracious, I hope not!) or the ‘mild’ flu symptoms from having had a flu shot a few weeks ago, but holy man, I was totally wiped out, and spent most of today just ever so slowly getting back on my feet again. I’m a still a bit slow, but on the mend. I hate rude surprises like this.

13Feb23 I didn't fall down! I was trying to find my robovac, and without thinking got down on my knees to look under my bed. My right arm was sprained earlier in the week so, I couldn't use it to get purchase on the side of the bed to get myself up. And because the vacuum had been 'crying for help', I had got up to look for it without my walking stick, which would have been (and eventually was) a great help in getting up. 11Feb23 Lunch Group at the Mt Compass Hotel. This was the Fish Platter and I couldn't finish it. I took what was left home and had it for my dinner. It was really good. I even took Per's salt & pepper calamari home too! 9Feb23 I thought I had possibly broke my arm, so got a ride to the hospital to get it x-rayed. It wasn't broke (phew!), but it was badly sprained. The day before I had, for 10 full minutes, stood at my boxing bag and beat the heck out of it. That didn't help - so I had muscle soreness from that, but then I was carrying a water reservoir from my dryer and bumped into a wall, wobbled or otherwise was carrying it awkwardly, and that's when it started really hurting.
