I’ve joined another photo group, where a challenge word is given on Fridays and we have a week to take photos that represent our interpretations of the word. So far I’m not very good at it – some people consistently get a few pics every week, but it’s fun and different. 21Apr20 Sitting in my car,
keeping an appointment to have a Corvid19 test. The parking lot was the waiting room, techs came out in full suited PPE to get details, hand out a mask and take you into one the temporary rooms set up for it. would I have thought I’d find Graham Crackers at an ethnic grocery store! These are slightly smaller than the ones found in America but lovely none the less. My doctor keeps these prescription stubs to use for scrap paper. Anytime I run low on them she hands me a big pile of them. If I tear at the perforation I end up with two sheets, and of course I use the front and back of each. #cf20 #perforations #reuse #reduce #recycle

03Mar20 My new favourite way to enjoy coffee. I was trying to reduce the amount of milk I use because it raises my glucose even though it’s not supposed to. So a splash of milk and bigger splash of almond milk. I wasn’t prepared to LOVE how it tastes! But I do! YUM! Anyway, this pic is for Challenge Friday and the theme is ‘opening’. I love the style of openings the long life packages have these days. Also, my coffee is from @urbanbrewpods are delivered to me and also make my coffee extra special.

10Feb20 I’ve been weeding…
When I came home from my USA holiday the weeds were choking this area and several other corners of the yard. I had someone from a lawn mowing agency come mow and he sprayed the weeds but when he returned a few weeks later, ONLY mowed the grass. So, first I’m not having that agency back again. Second, it may take awhile but I can do this, and once done I’ll probably have to start all over again. But it’ll look better and that will make me FEEL better about it. that had extra stuff to deal with land in my lap so instead of the dinner I’d planned on, I had a frozen pizza instead. Remarkably, my glucose didn't object to it, and it was pretty tasty too. I added sliced mushrooms to it because that’s my favourite type of pizza - pepperoni and mushrooms. Also, the Challenge Friday word this week is square.
