When melted add the garlic and cook for a couple of minutes until the butter is flavoured.
Add prawns to the pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, until pink.
Remove the prawns, add onion slices, lemon juice, white wine and seasoning.
Cook 3 or 4 minutes until the liquid is well blended and the onion crisp-tender.
Add the prawns back in, stir through for a minute or two to let the flavours combine, then serve over angel hair pasta.
Notes
The pasta can be mixed right into the pan with the prawns. Or you can put the pasta in a bowl, spoon the liquid over the pasta then top with the prawns. Add a sprinkle of parmesan cheese if desired.
