I fell out of the shower/bathtub on 25 May 2006, and this picture was taken five days later. I bruised my ribs but this bruise was the only visual indication of my fall, amazingly. I had 'deep tissue' bruising, but it didn't cause my skin to discolour on my back. The deep tissue bruising may have been the cause of the deep abscess I developed in March 2007 in the same area of my back where I landed in this fall. The abscess is still healing as of June 2008. This fall had far, far reaching consequences. Photo taken with phone camera. |
