Go the Crows! Showing my support for the Adelaide Crows footy team. As an American / Aussie, I've learned a few things about being a real Australian. Winter means footy. It's un-Australian not to support your local footy team. Unlike American football players who wear padded protection and are covered head to foot, Aussie footy players wear sleeveless singlets (Guernseys) and shorts with no padding, no helmet. Footy fans are more 'sensible' and dress appropriately for the winter weather with hats, scarves, jerseys, jackets etc that show your team's colours. Footy merchandise is a huge business.
