Aww, they are so adorable. I wonder if my son took this photo or if Jen's Mum took it. |

4-in1 Instant Fave: All wrapped up in Love
![]() |
Four Instant Faves in One pic.... I had to send the Instant Fave card to my family overseas so I could get some pics of them with it. This was one that they sent me. In this pic we have my daughter-in-law Jennifer -- definitely an Instant Fave of mine. Then we have my grandson Ricky holding the Fave card -- pretty clever considering he's only six weeks old! Naturally he's a fave of mine, and of course his Mum is his Instant Fave. Last, we have my granny wrap that I wore all last Winter (here in Australia) and sent on so baby and Mummy could wrap up in my love. The story behind the wrap is that last Mother's Day, I decided to splurge and buy my own gifts. My kids live overseas and I don't ever expect or desire for them to send me gifts. I just thought I'd do a little retail therapy... One of the things I picked out was a lovely and soft brown winter wrap that has awesome pockets 'from' my oldest son. I wore it nearly all winter. (See link). Later in the year came the news that I would be a granny in January. So after consulting with the parents-to-be, I sent my favourite brown wrap to them to use when nursing the baby. Sort of like sending hugs along even though I couldn't be there. The wrap will be sent back to me when our seasons change (Winter here, Summer there). That way I can have 'baby' hugs back in the form of wrapping the shawl around me. Entry for June 2008 Monthly Scavenger Hunt. Category: A piece of clothing worth having |
