HEY! I'm not falling asleep and it's 5 to midnight. This could be because tea tonight was a pork and veggie stir-fry, and for a change, I didn't have any noodles or other starchy kind of carb. The only carbs came from the veggies and the satay sauce, which compared to others I've tried this one didn't have much (under 5g per 100g).

The sauce was rather interesting. A couple weeks ago, I picked up this block that came in a box at the Asian market and the text/pictures showed that you cut this into slices (as much or as little as you want) and add it to a pan with a little water and it turns into a peanut sauce. It didn't cost much so I thought I'd give it a try, and wow, it's the closest to restaurant style satay I've made yet. Talk about a winner. I'll have to try it with the low carb Shirataki noodles which don't have much flavour on their own but take on the flavour of whatever sauce you put on them.

Here's a link to what the stuff looks like (before slicing) -- http://pawonku.blog.com/1962963/
and here's the actual brand I bought - http://www.enakeco.com/ex_prod_pecelinstant.php - just ignore the ingredient list as that's incorrect (totally). Ingredients on the box says: Ground Peanut, garlic, natural coconut sugar, capsicum (bell peppers), citrus leaf and other herbs and spices.

I was hoping my new pedometer would come today (since it was sent express), but alas. I managed to ride on the bike twice today, so that's good and might also have an effect on my not being half asleep at the keyboard.

The afternoon/evening was spent working on a menu system for drupal website project I'm working on. I'm pleased to say I did finally get what I wanted, but it took a bit of experimenting. This evening I managed a few tweaks on my own website, but not as far as I'd like to be.

Man, the net is really slow tonight. Anyway, that's me.
