I didn't have a chance to update this last night (Sunday) so am doing it now, on Monday morning. If you're reading this, no doubt you know that I have made my updated site live. There's still a few issues such as redirecting old links to newly updated links, filling in the Gallery section with what was on the old site. It will take awhile to do this though, as I'll be trying to add one or two categories a day. Currently I only have one recipe in the Recipes section, and I'll also try to add one a day to this.
One of the coolest things that happened yesterday was we had a parcel delivery on a SUNDAY (we don't normally get ANY weekend delivery), and Rod was able to 'play' with his new toy. I bought him a very very very inexpensive GPS over a week ago and he'd been lamenting that because he goes back to school today he wouldn't have a chance to do much with it. So of course he wanted to go for a little drive with me as chauffeur so he could test it out. Sad thing is, we didn't get too far and the battery ran out. Apparently the lighter/charger in our car doesn't work or isn't plugged in. It was kind of cool while it worked though. Our plan was to set off to find this large building we can see being built from our patio window. It's a very good sized building. I'm happy to say that was a success and the 'mystery' has been solved. It's a 120 bed nursing/retirement home and it's in O'Halloran Hill. I walked around the entire perimeter of it and took a few pics both of it and the view looking out towards where our house is. Then it was back home again and back to our regularly scheduled Sunday. When I get the chance, I'll upload the pics that I took.
I do have to check with the place I ordered the GPS from as it was supposed to come with a 2gig SD card, but this wasn't in the package we received.
