Still Going and it's after 11pm

I've been using the CPAP machine now since Monday night and so far, so good. I'm awake enough tonight to post a journal entry, and I've just finished updating my BGL stats (which was something that always put me to sleep). It looks like it's really helping with the fatigue. Not having my brain feel like a soggy bit of fog is a real pleasure too. I still have to grasp for words as I write, but that probably isn't sleep/fatigue related.

I started on assignments for 'Maintain Ethical Conduct' and hope to finish with it tomorrow. Honestly I don't think I could have started on this stuff before the CPAP machine. I'd look at the text and the assignment material and nothing made any sense at all in regards to what I was actually supposed to do, and that in turn would frustrate me and I'd find something else to do instead. Now I seem to be able to put the pieces together.

We've finally had some rain in the last few days. No walks for me, and although I had thoughts and plans on what exercises to do here at home, none of it actually happened. However, being that I am so behind in my studies at this point it may be for the best that I've been able to get on the school work bandwagon while my brain is functioning.

My middle son, Chris, is planning to move to Texas with folks he's been living with the past year or so (his church pastor and family). I think he'll have better luck finding a job there compared to what's available in Saginaw Mi. I have mixed emotions though. He's only in his early 20's and being out of state from family is a pretty major thing. Yes, I know, I'm in a whole 'nother country, but at least I have Rod and even before I arrived I had Vicki as a good friend too that I could rely on in case of an emergency. Still, even though he's way over there, I still worry about him. My other son will be turning off cable (and that means Internet) in order to be able to keep on top of the bills. Sad that I won't have as much contact, but at least he and his wife use Twitter via their cell phones. Meanwhile, my daughter is finishing her last week of school this week (college/uni) I think and has a bunch of exams coming up. It's amazing to keep so up to date with them via Twitter, Facebook & Skype. For being a world apart literally, online we're quite close.

Oh! I got to see and hear my grandson giggle and wave hello to me on Skype the other day. It was so precious. Sad that we won't be able to do that for awhile, but I'll really treasure the time we spent 'chatting' the other day. As a Granny, it was a very special day for me.

Anyway, must get stuff together and go to bed. I'm quite enjoying being able to 'keep up' with the stuff I like doing for a change, but must remember to continue to keep regular good hours in regards to sleep too.

Cheers!

Wooo~ Exams. I am so ready

Wooo~ Exams. I am so ready for this week to be over and start my summer >3< I just hope my back is better by Monday, I don't think I'll be able to carry my books around with this pain. I also have a Root Canal scheduled for the tuesday after my last class. I'm going to start my summer with a good ol' prescription of pain killers. LOL!!
