Guest Book
It's so very nice of you to stop by and visit my site. The statistics for this site shows me how many people have visited, but unfortunately it doesn't say
WHO has visited. Having a Guest Book lets me find out about you, and what your
interests are.
Naturally, I reserve the right to edit and/or not include your comments - whilst the Internet is a place of free speech, I think it's only fair that those who spend
time making it an enjoyable place have the right to keep their web sites as they see fit. :-)
I've changed the way the archive works, and have moved all the previous entries (WOW! Thanks Everyone!!) to the archive page. The new method allows me to approve entries and put them in the book almost as soon as I receive them (provided I'm online, of course).
For those who have asked me Commodore telecoms questions, I created a web page especially to answer some of the most common questions I'm asked. The page has moved to our new
Commodore Support Site and the direct link is:
http://cbm.videocam.net.au/getstarted.php
So... let's see your cyberspace autograph!
Comments... Thanks to one and all!

Oh Gaylyne, you gave me a good laugh today! Of course I typed in "housework" and came up with you! Only those of us that live in constant CHAOS (that is "Can't Have Anyone Over Syndrome") can truly appreciate your housework advoidance page. I'm soooo classic #3, 4, 5, & 8! ...and when the in-laws come... YIKES!!! So, I truly enjoyed your quote from A.A. Milne as my house is filled with constant discoveries. Well, I must be moving on to find some hints that will help this household improve, even if it is just a little... Thanks for the moment of laughter. God bless, Mary
- Nancy B from PA from Pennsylvania USA writes: Very interesting reading!! I actually googled "i hate housework" because I do, and I wanted to make sure I'm not the only one! Loved your Housework Avoidance Hints!! I'm the master of cleaning clutter up by throwing it all together in a bag, then pitching the bag into my "junk room" "to be sorted later". I've been married 30 years now, and "later" has not arrived yet! My junk room was at 1st a spare room, then my kids' nursery, then their bedroom, and now that we are empty-nesters, it's back to spare room. So it just somehow miraculously accumulates everything that I want to be "out of sight, out of mind" I would love to get it cleaned out, so my one & only (so far) grand-daughter can sleep there when she comes to stay, and otherwise use it as a craft/scrapbooking/sewing room. Oh well, maybe some year.......... Keep up the good work!

Hi Gaelyne, thanks you for your insirational diary on kicking 'THE HABIT'. Came across it by searching for info on Nicobate, have been on & off the patches for 3 months now, have regular relapses, smoke myself silly for a coupla days, then quit again. Was becoming extremely frustrated with my lack of willpower, but have renewed hope since reading your diary. Bought the gum today and thus far have found it certainly stopped the craving, which I seem to have even when using the patches. Have now added your site to my list of favorites for future reference. Congratulations and a big thank you.

Hi, Gaelyne, I did indeed find your website by typing the word "housework" into a search engine (Google in this case). :)
I really enjoyed reading your housework avoidance tips and having a wander around generally. I hope you're in good health. Good luck with the non-smoking. I quit 13 years ago after being a smoker for 22 (thirty roll-ups a day in my 'prime'!). It took several failures over a number of years to do it - it seems to be one of those things you have to keep trying and trying until you find the way that works for you. Becoming a non-smoker instead of quitting smoking is what worked for me. I used to say to myself "I am a non-smoker" over and over, a hundred times a day, until finally I started thinking like a non-smoker (all smokers were once, of course). A month after I'd stopped, and I'd got over the physical effects of the withdrawal, I no longer gave cigarettes a thought. Why would a non-smoker think about cigarettes? :) Smoking a cigarette seems like totally alien behaviour to me these days plus I'm at least 200% fitter than I was a decade ago. It's worth it. Hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Bob

Nice to meet people and Say hi. Nothing earth shattering. Dixon is

fame is 1. Ronald Reagan (US President) lived here most of his
childhood. 2. Abe Lincoln (US President) served in the Illinois
Militia at Fort Dixon during the Blackhawk wars in the 1840's. Well
enough is enough. Thanks for being here! John

[now in English]
Hi from Bogota, Colombia (South America)
It's amazing the places where the C64 has gone.
I'm an electrical engineer with a specialized degree in networks.
I had my c64c from 1988 and I love progrmming in assembler specially GEOS.
Before Internet, I only get information for my C64 through magazines like Compute Gazette and Run.
Now with Internet makes the C64 stay alive!!!
