Twilight Happy Hour at Wirra Wirra Vineyards in McLaren Vale

28 December 2004. We had a great afternnoon out today and these are the pictures from it. Several wineries got together to have 3 evenings of music, sausage sizzles and wine. We nearly didn't find the place, as there weren't too many signs along the way, but it was a nice winery tucked away in the hills. I took some great photos but they don't show the depth of the hills in the distance as I'd like. Still, was lots of fun.

I was trying to capture the hills in the distance.

Again, trying to get the hills in the background. These hills in particular always remind me of Salt Lake City in Utah. The hills are different in this photo from the previous photo.

What a great piccy of Rod!

A group of people in front of us, and the winery in the distance. Just behind these people was the sausage sizzle and the tent with the band.

There's a horse stable in the distance. Very typical Australian country view.

I took this snap and laughed my head off. Rod does a great imitation of Ian Parameter!

Rod pretending to be a wine connoisseur. It was a nice drop of shiraz something or other.
