On 16 March 2002, April and Vicki organised a surprise birthday BBQ for Adam Crawford, and we had a great day. Because I thought it'd be a fun lark, I let the kids use washable markers to draw on my bald (due to chemo) head. It was a riot - and yes, the scribbles washed away in the shower!
