Captain Sturt paddlewheel boat. We had a nice ride on this and it was something we thought about doing for our holiday (a trip on the Murray). This was shorter and in a warmer climate! |

And we found time to get in some fishing. Rod and I both caught whoppers! |

Rod with his shark. |

Of course, Rod was nearly the 'catch of the day' and I had to rescue him. |

Steam train - something I've wanted to ride for quite some time. |

Rod had a ride on the Tower of Terror. You go screaming up about 38 stories and then it slams you backwards back down the tower and back to where you started. |

This photo was taken while Rod was on the ride (he's in the top left corner). He doesn't look as worried as some of the other people though! |

Giant Drop. This is scanned from a booklet, as we managed to not get any pictures of this scary ride. Both Rod and I went on this one together. It didn't seem as scary as riding the airlifts. It felt very sturdy. You get a good minute or two at the top to look around - if you dare! |

The tower in the photo is used for both the Giant Drop and Tower of Terror rides. It's 39 stories high. We think the white building amongst the trees a bit to the right side behind the tower may be the actual Big Brother house, and the reason why the Tower's east side ride was closed. |

The line for the Big Brother Eviction show. |

In line and ready to go into the Eviction show. |

Early view of the stage. The couple in front of us (the guy with the red spiked hair and the blond woman) were moved up to the 1st 3 rows before the show
started. |

The show's started - Gretel's on the stairs. |

Gretel and Jessica (who was evicted the week before) |

Gretel with Sahra, the Evictee of the night. The 'hallway' with the mirrors and smoke wasn't nearly as impressive in person as it appears on TV. |

Gretel and Sahra on the couch. Rod took this photo. I couldn't see them on the couch as the camera was right in my line of view. |

Rod and I enjoying the show. We captured these shots from the videotape of the show. We were on TV only very briefly! Rod's underneath the white sign. The lighting made my hair look weird |

Our Big Brother Eviction tickets |

Monday Morning - We had a toast breakfast on the balcony of our apartment. |

Standing between two states: Queensland and New South Wales. |

Rod standing between the two states. Interesting shadow's at play in this photo. Do you see the man with the funny nose? |

While in Tweed Heads, I just HAD to pose with my short hair next to this sign! |

We stopped off at the Twin Towns Services Club (sort of a very fancy VFW place) for a couple of beers. No, I didn't play the pokies behind me. |

While there, couples were dancing to organ music. It was such an unusual circumstance for the two of us to be in I insisted Rod take a picture. |
